The rock is good on this cliff, although sometimes hard to protect, making it not a great place for novices. This is especially so as the cliff is steep and the climbing sustain. However the classic of the crag Lavaredo Wall, is a stunning climb with a real heart in your mouth moment as you leave the belay on the top pitch.
Although situated on open access land the owners (Forestry Commission) have been granted permisson to suspend public access to this venue for 6 months in order to carry out forestry operations, including felling and timber extraction. Access to the cliff should not be affected, as long as climbers park in the village and walk up the track. At times climbers and walkers maybe asked to leave by the contractors, it's unlikely that any forestry operations will be carried out at evenings or weekends.
