This crag should need no introduction, superlatives will not convey just how good the climbs are that range across the grades from VDiff to the high extremes. Generations of climbers have pioneered routes on this crag, and it is a testing ground for modern climbers to measure themselves against the benchmark routes of yesterdays finest climbers, who's reputation often precedes them.

The Climbing

The crag is dominated by the immense Cenotaph Corner, this is the main event at the crag, don't be mistaken that the other areas are good. The left section of the crag around Sabre Cut area has several outstanding routes, and you can't rule out the amazing Fly Buttress another one of the few classic VDiff in the Pass. The greatest routes of all are around the corner and all of them are three star.

All of the three star classics are a must for any trad climber, and most of the routes are more than worth the effort of what seems like arduous approach, which if done right though it is not very far from the road, and the path is reasonable.
